Te ao Māori framework toolkit

The Food and Fibre Centre of Vocational Education have recently published the Te Ao Māori Skills Framework Toolkit, designed for providers and programme developers.

This toolkit has been developed to accompany the Food and Fibre Skills Framework and provides a culturally relevant approach to skills development, supporting training that aligns with both industry needs and te ao Māori values.

It’s a great resource to use as a foundation for skills development, designing workshops, mentoring sessions, and training programmes, all while ensuring cultural relevance in the development process.

We’re excited to see this valuable resource published and look forward to building on this mahi as part of the skills framework action within Te Haumako, our Māori Workforce Development Plan, as well as some of our other work.
