The sector has some big challenges on the horizon - how can we support our industries to adapt?

There are some major challenges that are currently facing the industry, and some which may only become more difficult for our industries to navigate in the future. These include regulatory changes, climate change adaptation, demographic changes, and an increase in technology and automation. There are no clear answers on how best to adapt to these challenges or what the future skills needs might be in light of this shifting landscape – more research is needed.
